We’ve realized that the look we’ve gone for doesn’t necessarily match the URL, which is ‘The Mattinator’. Unfortunately, we don’t really have time to change the URL. However, I still really like it. And it allows us to write funny error messages related to Arnold Schwarzenegger. Yay. What are your thoughts?

I like the first one, more colour to pull out and use on the site. Maybe easier to make a favicon from the head too.

I think Mike might have been subconsciously influenced by the colour of the Leopard desktop background :)
Looking good though, love the look of the home page so far.

I love the domain name “Mattinator.com” - wish I had registered it ;) The two little characters are really awesome! I think the domain name suits the little fella :) Cant wait to see this progress…

How about putting part of the illustration (rounded inner edges of the TV) WITHIN the video as a border, that way you don’t get the square box within a rounded box effect which can look crap.
Loving the scene! Very VIMEO which I love! I feel like both vimeo and Mattinator are going for a similar feel, one that sits well with me.
